On April 28th 1999, barely a week after the Columbine massacre, two students were shot in their school, one fatally. Dale Lang tells the story from a father’s point of view, and shares the power of healing in forgiveness.
After 11 years and countless schools, conventions, prayer breakfast, we are pleased to be able to share through video the story that has touch many lives . There are 5 parts (see below).
This is still a hard set of videos to go through even though the tragedy to Jason happened several years ago now. I guess what comes to mind is that the crucifixion event shows that the Father is totally without vengeance (Rom 8:32). Jesus gave Himself for humanity as a cure for the disease called sin (including violence, vengeance, etc.), thus Jesus became humanity’s victim. Dale Lang (and Family) have shown what it is like to have Jesus living inside of them, and the power of His sacrifice. The Lang Family have been co-participants with Jesus the forgiving sacrifice (the Lamb, Book of Revelation). They have modelled absolute trust in Him by living as if death were not.
