Two Fools on the Road to Emmaus Podcast - Continuing where they left off last week, the guys explore the ways we can connect with God, and advocate a marriage of knowledge and experience, rather than discarding one for the other. As well, they examine the enlightenment and how it affects our relationships with God.
Two Fools on the Road to Emmaus Podcast – It appears an online cabal of right-wing fundamentalists is attempting to re-translate the bible to fit “contemporary conservative sensibilities”, which is wonderful serendipity for the podcast, as it allows us to resurrect our favorite segment – “What The Heck Were They Thinking!”. Join Mike and Mark in the humor filled discussion that follows, as the guys somehow manage to eviscerate their own credibility as an online entity, while ultimately touching on a vitally important topic: how do we connect with God?

Somehow this leads to a question about rapture / tribulation theology, and the selfishness that seems apparent in that thinking when examined from a broad vantage. And, eventually, the guys find themselves asking a familiar question with major Kingdom implications: does the end justify the means?
