Two Fools on the Road to Emmaus Podcast - This week the guys are launched into a discussion about how we evaluate and engage the world around us, by a Christian educator who openly admits he doesn’t want his pupils to think for themselves.  In light of this issue the guys examine the difficulty of living in the “(Mis)information age” with strongly partisan media, and ask: can we trust Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, or should we label everyone who has questions a heretic?

Two Fools on the Road to Emmaus Podcast – The guys conclude last week’s conversation by examining the parallel ditches of hyper-intellectualism and flakiness. They ruminate about the prominent trend in Western Christianity of having relationship with concepts and ideas about God, as opposed to the person of Jesus himself.

Two Fools on the Road to Emmaus Podcast – Why do we always seem to gravitate toward unbalanced extremes?  In life we relate to each other both intellectually and through shared experience.  In this episode Mark and Mike talk about their journeys through hyper-intellectualism and flaky ‘charismania’, and how God is leading them to find life somewhere in the middle.

This week the guys start by sharing a couple stories of God at work in the midst of death, before moving on to a quote by Pat Robertson (of 700 Club fame) in regards to Haiti.  The guys wonder aloud what Pat and his supporters really think about God.
