I am His - a story |

As I walked, I recognized many great men and women of the faith. Such wonderful ministries. I remember saying "Aren’t you…." And they would say "yes and I did ...". However, the closer I got, the less familiar the people became. I would ask this one and that one "who are you?’ and they would respond with their first name and "I did...". As I got closer to the throne, people were less interested in telling me who they were and many responded with a half name or an initial.
So close to the Throne, the glory was so immense, so sweet, so terrifying, so wonderful! The people while different were so familiar. They looked so alike and yet so unique. They sang praise to the King with one voice. They even had the same fragrance, the sweet aroma of our beloved. In a moment I was at the throne. I looked and the people were upon their faces with great roars and songs of adoration to their beloved. Wave after wave of heavenly revelation flowed in and through them. I knelt down to the one closest to me and asked "who are you?" With only a mild glance towards me as recognition, she said "I am His". I returned home.
Father, may I never boast in anyone or anything but Christ.
